Learn a new skill in the new year!
Jewelry Classes - basic to advanced.
Weekly classes start every month on the first Wednesday.
Class days are Wednesday & Thursday, 9:30 to noon and 6:30 to 9 PM.
Students can attend any 4 day or night classes to complete the 4 classes per month that are included in the class fee.
Fee for weekly classes is $65 for 4 classes.
Some of the jewelry techniques taught in the first month are sawing, piercing, texturing, drilling, polishing and cold connection construction.
The second month includes soldering and bezel setting. Students practice in bronze, copper and brass sheet and wire metals.
Tools & equipment are supplied in the studio and other metals can be ordered.
No experience is necessary.
This is a fun class. Some of the students have referred to it
as "Adult Play School".
Monthly classes are held on the 2 & 3 Saturdays of some months.
Monthly classes are $120 for 2 classes. Class times are 9:30 to 3:30 on both days. Learn some of the same techniques as above, but in a shorter time. Students practice on bronze, copper and brass and other metals can be ordered. No experience is necessary.
*Important note: Class times are not transferable from month to month. All 4 weekly classes or 2 Saturday classes must be used in the same month.
Students must be 18 or older or accompanied by an adult class member.
