Katherine Ladd, owner of the Blue Heron Studio in Pittsboro, specializes in custom-designed, hand-painted floor cloths up to 8 x 10 feet. She also creates murals, collages and assemblages, and eclectic original paintings of the Southwest, her garden, and interpretations of her travels.
