Watercolor, ink and found objects on gourds


I use watercolor paint, ink and found objects on gourds to produce sculptural vessels. I enjoy following the natural shapes and colorations of the gourds and embellishing them with images such as birds’ nests, trees, people and other animals. The finished products are permanent pieces that blend painting with sculpture.
