Carolina Brewery comes to Pittsboro
and Chatham Artists Guild is there!

Chatham Artists Guild artists will be featured in an on-going series of exhibits at the new Carolina Brewery in Pittsboro.

Carolina Brewery Art Show
December 2008 - January 2009

"Not Your Grandmother's Nine-Patch"

featuring
Mary Lucas & Maggie Wilson

"Color Play"
by Mary Lucas

"Circle Game"
by Maggie Wilson

Reception Sunday,
January 4, 2009, 4 to 6 PM

Mary Lucas creates quilts and fiber art to express her love of nature, color, geometric design and abstract form. Each year new discoveries, different ways of looking and seeing, and an on-going exploration of how to use fabric and fiber bring surprises and an ever-changing end result.
Currently she is exploring the beauty of wood, and is learning the techniques of wood turning. Perhaps some future combination of fiber and wood will emerge.

Maggie Wilson says, "Fiber art is in my blood and bones. Generations of creativity and talent flow down to me and out through my hands. I feel most complete when I am working with fabric and thread."

The shows run two months each with an artist Reception
about half way through the show.

Carolina Brewery is located north of Pittsboro
beside the Lowe's Home Improvement store
at the intersection of 15-501 South and Hwy 64 Bypass.
