The series is located at the beautiful Shakori Hills in Silk Hope, N.C., just outside Pittsboro.



Picnics are welcome, and we encourage dancing and open jam sessions.

We collect donations for the band via our famed “pass the fuzzy hat” method. Performers receive 100% of the proceeds. Suggested amount: $5 - $8 per adult. Any extra from the deep pockets in the audience is much appreciated.

We like to reward the generosity and good faith of our artists, but we don’t want a hardcore cover charge to deter attendance when times are lean.

We want to become Chatham County's proverbial "tree house," where neighbors feel like they can gather and be together any time they like.  This effort belongs
